A vast continent that offers an array of awe inspiring landscapes, diversity of peoples and cultures.
A journey through the many countries that comprise South America will amaze, enthrall and challenge you physically and in any of the preconceptions that you may subconsciously have built up prior to your journey.
With such a plethora of cultural highlights & natural wonders it does mean that you may have to be ruthlessly selective in your choice of destination and/or in the type of holiday experience that you're after.
The beating heart of our fragile eco-system, the rain forests, the mighty Amazon, Aconcagua, the highest of the Andean mountain range, glaciers imbued with the most wondrous of hues, the wetlands of the Pantanal, idyllic beaches, iconic wildlife, the mystique of the Easter Island statues and the bio-diversity of cultural experiences all beckon with equal allure.
There are far too many highlights to truly do this great continent justice and so you may have to allow more time than you may have originally planned for or you just may have to keep coming back to tap into those myriad of things that you are likely to have missed out on if a lack of time is an issue.
Cliches are often used to paint an image of desirability with words such as amazing, stunning, awe-inspiring, fantastic etc; and while each one has their indiviual merit nothing can truly encapsulate just what your very own experiences in South America are likely to be.
One thing is for sure though, it will be like no other that you may hitherto experienced.
To get the most out of your holiday in South America it is advisable to plan your itinerary and research when the best time to travel is, what to take with you, what injections (especially if you intend to visit the Amazon), medicines etc; are worth packing on your trip.
